Service Description
In-person modules 7 & 8 for the Hybrid Maryland Wear and Carry (CCW) + HQL Course 8 Hours In-person 9am - 5pm Each student must complete 8 Modules (6 online, 2 in-person) You will be sent a link to select Online Session dates after paying the deposit and completing registration for an in-person date. Please be sure to select dates to complete each of the 6 online modules as well as the 2 in-person modules. A deposit must be made to register for the in-person date. Once you are registered for the in-person date, you will receive an invite to sign-up for the online modules on the dates that you choose from the available dates: Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL) Course - Instruction in fundamental firearms safety and training to help individuals obtain a handgun qualification license (HQL is required to purchase or transfer handguns in Maryland). Maryland Wear and Carry Training Course (CCW permit) Individuals wishing to apply for a Maryland Wear and Carry Permit must: 1) complete a required 16-hour course with a MSP Qualified Handgun Instructor that includes a passing score on a Live Fire Qualification course of fire. 2) submit live-scan fingerprints with their application materials 3) pass a background check

Cancellation Policy To reserve your seat for the in-person portion of a course, registration and a deposit are required. After registering and submitting your deposit, you will receive an invite to select from available times for the online modules. All students must complete the required number of hours and all designated modules—both in-person and online—to fulfill course requirements. During the online portion, students are expected to actively participate and must keep their cameras on for the duration of all live video sessions. Live Fire Requirement The HQL and Maryland Wear and Carry (CCW) courses include a mandatory Live Fire qualification, conducted during the in-person session. All Maryland Wear and Carry students—both new and renewal—must pass the Live Fire Qualification with a minimum score of 70%. Deposits and Rescheduling All deposits are non-refundable. Rescheduling requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may require supporting documentation.
